## Real Raindance videos with pets

Cat Duet and Dog & Owner are two videos generated with Raindance AI Video. Both use Duet with two images and follow the selected Raindance reference sequence. The playable outputs on this page show a pet cast and a mixed person-and-pet cast.

These examples display the generated outputs. Their matching input images are not published here, so they are not presented as an input-photo comparison. For an example with the actual source images, see the [two-photo Couple Duet](/blog/raindance-couple-video-example).

## Cat Duet and Dog & Owner

**Cat Duet** shows a cat-based combination in the reference performance. **Dog & Owner** shows a dog and a person together. The pier entrance, singing close-ups and beach shots give you several moments to review the cast and its movement.

Play each complete video. A single poster cannot show whether a subject’s appearance stays consistent through the cuts, or how the body moves. The examples demonstrate these supported combinations, not a guarantee that every pet photo produces the same result.

## Which role should my pet take?

In **Duet**, Image 1 becomes the Singer and Image 2 becomes the Partner. Use **Swap roles** before generation if you want to exchange them. A dog or cat can take either role; you can pair a pet with a person, another pet or an animated character.

In **Solo**, one image replaces the Singer and the original reference Partner stays. Solo does not remove the second performer or turn the sequence into a pet-only scene. Choose Duet if you want to replace both roles.

Singer and Partner are positions in the reference, not requirements for a human face. The uploaded image is retained in full, including body, fur and distinctive details.

## Pet image requirements

Use a clear image of one pet for each role. Include the identifying details you want the generator to use, such as the face, coat and body. If several animals overlap in one picture or an important feature is hidden, that picture provides less clear identity information.

JPG, PNG and WebP files are supported, up to 10 MB per image. Each side must be at least 300 pixels. Only use pictures you have permission to process and publish. A file extension change does not convert an unsupported image.

## Output format and limits

Both examples are 720p, 1280×720, 16:9 landscape MP4 videos. The product duration is 10 seconds; these encoded files are approximately 10.04 seconds. They include preserved reference audio and no Raindance Video watermark. The reference’s camera movement, scenery and performance timing guide the result.

Pet likeness, anatomy and movement can vary. Review the full result for changes in coat details, extra limbs or distorted motion before sharing. Changing the input or generating again does not guarantee a correction. A new generation uses 50 credits, in Solo or Duet.
